2022 HHCA Spring Auction

The 11th almanac 2022 HHCA auction is in the yearbook. What an auction it was. Over 150 Highlands were sold in excess of $693,000. There were 47 Highland farms/breeders who consigned to the auction coming from 9 states. In that location were 22 states who purchased Highlands from the auction. Prices ranged from crossbred steers at $800 to a registered yearling Highland bull for $14,000, and a registered half-dozen month old Highland heifer sold for $12,500. Then for the unregistered an open up 4 year. old cow, sold for $9000. Prices were high also for cow/calf pairs selling for $6200.

  We want to "Thank" all the volunteers who helped on Friday and Sabbatum with all the penning and moving of the animals, the ladies working the merchandise tables, writing down prices, taking registrations, the Juniors who helped in the moving of the animals on Friday and Sat also. The Mid Missouri Stockyards for their facilities and the cafeteria for serving such skilful food and DVauctions.com for all the online bidders. Everyone was very accomodating.
